NDB Bank signs MoU with University of Moratuwa

To strengthen Lanka’s future workforce

NDB Bank recently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Faculty of Business, University of Moratuwa, further strengthening its commitment to nurturing Sri Lanka’s future workforce through meaningful industry-academia collaboration.

The collaboration is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practice by providing students with access to internships, industry engagement programmes, knowledge-sharing sessions, and exposure to NDB’s  business operations. Through these initiatives, students will gain valuable real-world experience and practical insights that will equip them with the skills and competencies required to thrive in today’s dynamic business environment.

The partnership forms part of NDB’s broader capacity-building initiative aimed at collaborating with leading state and private universities across Sri Lanka. By fostering closer ties with academia, the Bank seeks to contribute to the development of highly skilled graduates while supporting universities in preparing students for successful professional careers. At the same time, these collaborations reinforce NDB’s position as an employer of choice, committed to investing in talent, innovation, and professional growth.
